Great location on Nanjing Road with nearby shopping.
During my stay, I encountered several safety issues. Initially, my access card went missing after I left it in my room, and despite my attempts to resolve the matter, the staff's response was dismissive. Additionally, my parents found their luggage opened even with a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, which raised serious concerns about the security of our belongings.

Great location right off Nanjing Walking Street and super close to the subway. The room I had, a Deluxe Double or Twin Room, was spacious with a big window letting in natural light. Check-in was easy, and I appreciated the early check-in option. However, the building definitely shows its age. The elevator doesn’t start at the ground floor, which means lugging heavy bags up some steps to reach it. On top of that, the rooms could use a little modernization. the décor feels outdated. There was a lingering cigarette smell from the connecting door, which made my stay uncomfortable at times. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room properly. it felt stuffy. Thankfully, the staff were polite during check-out and receptive to feedback. A bit of maintenance would go a long way here.

The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions like People's Square and the Bund, making it easy to get around the area. I appreciated the good water pressure in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. The early check-in also made my arrival convenient after a long travel day. The building certainly shows its age, but being in such a vibrant part of Shanghai was worth it for my brief visit.

Recommend it for families seeking convenience
The location was unbelievable, right at the center of everything! Could walk to the Bund in just 10 minutes and the breakfast was surprisingly good with options like toast, coffee, and eggs, fueled me up for the day!
It was not exactly a bargain, but you know what they say, you get what you pay for.

The hotel is perfectly located near the bustling Nanjing Road. We enjoyed the convenience of shopping and dining options nearby. Plus, the comfy beds in our Family Suite made it a cozy retreat after our busy days exploring Shanghai with our young child.
My wife says that the amenities were lacking for families. A small kids' play area would enhance the experience.
